How to use

  1. Upload the price list once (it is stored in the browser). It is the source of SKUs and specifications; when a new one is released just upload it — SKUs that no longer exist are flagged in the BOM.
  2. Fill in the customer requirements under Product Sizing (or the Sizing Form questionnaire). The tool recommends models and SKUs that meet them (sizing only — pricing is done outside the tool).
  3. Click Add to BOM, then export the SKU & quantity list from BOM to Excel/CSV.
  4. Specification figures (throughput, PoE, log rate) can be corrected under Specifications; FortiGate figures come from the official Product Matrix.

Split areas with different characteristics (office, meeting rooms, warehouse, outdoor). The IDF field decides which switch powers the APs of that zone.
